Vacation
All German schools follow the year-round system with a 6 week summer vacation (the month of July plus 1- 2 weeks before and/or after). In addition there are 2 week breaks in the spring, fall and Christmas season. An advantage of this system is it helps the children sustain their academic focus through the summer break. Vacation schedules for our school follow the State of Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz).
